APPROVED ONLINE CONTINUING EDUCATION PROVIDERS

The Real Estate Commissioner has approved any non-specific real estate continuing education course offered by the following real estate schools. By non-specific, it means any course that is not specifically tailored to a particular state with respect to its specific rules, regulations, and laws. If you have a question concerning an approved course, please contact a member of the Real Estate Commission prior to taking the course to ensure it will be credited towards your continuing education requirements.

SUBSTITUTION OF CLOCK HOURS

Per § 104211 of Title 21 GCA, Chapter 104, the Real Estate Commissioner may allow for substitution of clock hour continuing education requirements, if the Commissioner makes a determination that the individual is otherwise and similarly qualified by reason of completion of equivalent educational coursework in any accredited institution of higher learning or any degree granting accredited institution.

NOTE: The 30-hour pre-licensing course does not qualify as continuing education.

LICENSE RENEWAL

Licensees may select courses of interest from the approved list, take and complete the course, then print and retain the Certificate of Completion. When it’s time for renewal, complete all required documentation to include copies of your completion certificates, and submit your package to the Department of Revenue and Taxation (Real Estate Licensing Division) for approval.
